The Observatory of the European Central Bank (Observatorio del Banco
Central Europeo, OBCE) is a non-profit association, headquartered
in Madrid (Spain).
The OECB has two main objectives:
To provide a forum where the players involved in the Euro area
policy-making (including officers of the ECB and other central
banks and regulators, Euro-zone's civil servants, academics and
researchers) can discuss issues related to the Euro area (monetary
policy, exchange rate policy, systems of payments, banking supervision,
the world monetary system, etc.)
To promote economic research on issues related to the Euro area.
